The CFL goes forward with its 2021 season.

The league’s board of governors has voted unanimously in favor of an amended collective bargaining settlement and beginning the marketing campaign on Aug. 5.

The CFL didn’t play in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The league unveiled plans in November for a full 18-game season that was to have began in June. The beginning was later pushed again to August and the variety of video games was decreased to 14.

The league title recreation, the Gray Cup, additionally was pushed again three weeks to Dec. 12.
