GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Michael Sandle hit two house runs within the early recreation Sunday, and No. 3 regional seed South Alabama superior to the Gainesville Regional remaining, eliminating second-seeded Miami 7-2.

The Jaguars (35-21) face elimination once they play fourth-seeded South Florida later Sunday night time with the chance to power a Monday rematch.

JoJo Booker (8-0) allowed 4 hits and two runs in 5 1/3 innings to get the win and Tyler Samaniego struck out three in two hitless innings for his seventh save of the season.
