A metro overpass has partially collapsed in Mexico Metropolis. Officers say a minimum of 23 persons are lifeless, and dozens injured.
Emergency medical crews attended the scene close to the Olivos station on the metro’s 12 Line.
BBC’s Mexico correspondent Will Grant stated there have been surprising scenes with “the carriages, the bridge crumpled into one another on to the freeway under”.
