Canary Islands: ‘Taking in migrants modified my life’

When the pandemic put their enterprise prone to chapter, British resort proprietor Calvin Lucock, his spouse Tove and their worker Matt Summers determined to participate in a Spanish authorities scheme. They took in migrants and asylum seekers who had arrived within the Canary Islands from Africa.

Three months after the Spanish scheme ended, dozens of younger migrants are nonetheless residing of their resort and so they have created a basis to proceed serving to those that’ve left all the pieces behind to try to begin a brand new life in Europe.
